The word "Taliban" in Arabic means "student". They have been fighting alongside Afghan rebels known as the "Mujahedeen" against Russian occupation for nine years. The United States provided funding and weapons back to its policy against the Cold War enemy, the Soviets, that was backing the communist leader in Afghanistan. Which led a coup d'état seized power from the country's first president, Mohammed Daoud Khan, in 1978.

But when the Soviets withdrew in 1989, Afghanistan became more turbulent. Two years later, the Taliban emerged as a major force, seized Kabul and Kandahar with a promise to keep people safe. In 1993, NajibullahAhmadzai was hanged and executed in the Kabul Square by the Taliban. He was Afghanistan's last communist leader. Consequently, the Taliban declared Afghanistan an Islamic state and enforced strict Shariah laws. But over time The Taliban did not ease control measures. They claimed to do so to prevent another civil war by limitations, including ban women from education, prohibit women from working except being a doctor, etc. Anyone who did not comply was imprisoned or been beaten in public.

The turning point for Afghanistan came on October 7, 2001, when The United States decided to invade Afghanistan. The Taliban government refused to hand over Uzmah bin Laden, The former leader of the Al-Qaeda terror group, which was accused of being behind the World Trade Center sabotage against the United States, and was hiding in Afghanistan.

Former President George W. Bush called on Afghanistan, which was ruled by the Taliban, to hand over Osama bin Laden. Ultimately, after the request was ineffective, the United States invaded Afghanistan to expel the Taliban government and purge some terrorists to support “Democracy" in Afghanistan.

Joe Biden didn't want Americans to end their lives for Afghans. I want the Afghans to defend each other," Biden said, "but it will be a recipe for endless battles. We achieved those goals already. Why do we have to go on? We didn't go to Afghanistan to build a country. And it is the right and responsibility of the Afghan people to decide their own future and the way they want to see their country move forward.” The US claimed peace but the other perspective was thinking about taking over resources.

For 20 years, The US government has controlled Afghanistan's military affairs and spent a large budget on the same. But, it did not make the people of the city have a better life.

The Taliban began to continue its invasion of Afghanistan after the US announced withdrawal of troops last May after settling in Afghanistan for more than 20 years. The war in Afghanistan began in 2001 to expel the Taliban and to prevent Al-Qaeda from using Afghanistan as a terrorist base.President Ashraf Ghani has already fled the country and left the people in the political uncertainty caused by the power vacuum. Many people have chosen to migrate to neighbouring countries out of concern over the uncertainty. of the situation. One of the goals of the Taliban is to rule the country according to Islamic extremism.

In the map “Red is Taliban”. America sent 3000 Marines to enter the Mecca embassy in Kabul to help consular personnel evacuate Afghanistan. Which this event was similar to "Vietnam"

Before the US and its allies withdrew their troops from Afghanistan, Peace talks have been held between the United States and the Taliban in order to end the prolonged conflict and war in Afghanistan.
